In general average, will the deductible (excess) be applied? For example,
General average : USD1,000 to be borne by the insurer (after subrogation from the insured).
Deductible: 0.5% in the cargo policy.
Will the insurer pay USD1,000.- or USD995?
Pls kindly enlighten. Thanks.
